Where in the world?

Well, it may come as a surprise, but this is the South West of England - Cheddar Gorge in Somersetshire.

We took Oliver and Thomas with their cousin Alice for the day and met some friends for a spot of cave visiting. We saw lots of stalagmites, etc, but as part of the (rampantly overpriced) ticket you also get to go on a bus ride up the gorge. I took this shot from the top of the bus. These cliffs rise 400 feet from the floor of the gorge and we were told some nutters climb them without ropes and other climbers stuff for stopping you falling off!!

Great to have some sun after the week we've had.
