Dusters!

Today I washed 17 dusters and laid them out on the grass to dry. The largest one had a name embroidered on it: R H Knowles. We bought this house in 1976 from Mrs. Knowles and this duster is still going strong and has been in constant use. I am puzzled why anyone would bother to have their name embroidered on a duster, surely they weren't sent to the laundry?
