FIRST BUTTERFLY

Earlier this spring I planted several new flowers hoping to attract butterflies and bees, but so far nothing has been interested.  Until today... I saw this Cabbage White showing some interest in the zinnias.  Seems like it's been raining for weeks!  Maybe that's the reason for the delay.

In extras I've posted a day lily.  This year they have three to four times as many blossoms as usual - the excessive rain is probably the reason for that too.  Of course I'm working on lots more projects inside the house - so that's the good part of all these rainy days!
