BEETLE BLIP

Rain and thunderstorms most of today, so there wasn’t much out and about to blip. When I spotted this tiny (1/4 in.) yellow & black striped beetle, it scurried to the underside of the leaf (on Flickr) – then back to the top when I tried to photograph it there. I also found a black & green striped beetle (on Flickr) that had the same orange head as this yellow & black striped one. I wonder if they were male and female. Anyway, this was taken when it was getting quite dark just before another downpour, so I was relieved that there was enough light for this shot.
