'Heaven on a Stick'
After the school run, Kelly and I drove to Mottisfont Nat.Trust. The weather was glorious! We got there early..but the car park was filling up fast! We started with coffee..sat in our favourite little secluded spot ..what a way to relax! Next, the wonderful walled Rose gardens...the sun was high and made it a bit tricky for photographers. Almost impossible to capture the full picture of the gardens..and it's been hard deciding on my Blip. I've gone for one of the lovely Rose arches...dripping with highly scented blooms. We then had lunch in the gardens, looked around the house and finished with the Roses...again!
The two hour drive home for me this evening was enjoyable..and I managed to avoid the road closures in Chichester...just!..as I drove down the hill from Brighton to Lewes the view of the Downs and beautiful skies completed the day.
