birthday boy....

This is my friend's son Asimenye who is four today!  I was the midwife at his birth which was a bit of a shock to all of us, but I am so happy to see him growing up healthy and happy!  I made a cake and some of his friends came in the evening to sing happy birthday and help him eat the cake!

Such a busy day today - lots of issues in the office in the morning, then teaching in the afternoon, then the birthday celebration.....then home to cook as visitors arrive on Sunday and I am off to the airport in Lilongwe tomorrow to collect them so no time to cook tomorrow!  (and takeaways are few and far between in Mzuzu!)
