Welcome to the world, Darcie Connie Fells.
This is her at 7 hours old. So, another neice for auntie Fizzy.
My first neice was the marker for the start of an era. My new neice is the marker for the end of that era, and the beginning of a new one.
A birth and a new home, all on the same day!
Needless to say, loads and loads of pics taken today, but went with this one. This was Mums favourite - and Mum always knows best! Although I like this one because of the slightly cheecky finger she is showing! Give that to the world - yep, she's one of our family!

You did so well - you handled all 8lbs 13ozs of her!

Today was a bag of mixed emotions for me. But seeing a new life, so uninfluenced, so innocent, so helpless, so aware - inspired me so much. I know, now, that I did the right thing. And tonight will probally be the most deepfull, soundest, refreshing sleep I will have had in a good few years.

Welcome, Darcie. Thank you, Darcie. I am looking forward to wetting your head tomorrow night. and I am looking forward to the many, many, many years to come.
