The Cloud

Not like yesterdays ones…This is the roof of an entertainment building built on the Auckland waterfront in 2011 for The Rugby World Cup and called...The Cloud.

Inside there is little to attract, which is probably symbolic of special buildings build for sporting events but the morning light got The Boss excited enough to take his camera out.
We are in Auckland for a few days as The Bossess is working up here and invited us to join her ..Sorta…so we did. Auckland is fun to walk around and explore so that will be on the agenda for the next few days and the night lights will be fun too.

The Boss  went into the sole remaining Photo joint on Queen Street today and tried to buy an IR filter. “Good grief”, The no doubt soon to be redundant bloke said “we don’t stock things like that, How about a nice Canon 1D”.
“Does it come with an R72 filter” The Boss suggested.
“NO” The afore mentioned bloke responded.
“Never mind” said The Boss, I will get it on line”
“Good Idea” said the bloke.
And that kiddies is todays story about the future of camera shops in Auckland.

Actually he will email his favourite shop in Christchurch (which is in no danger of disappearing) and the bloke there will simply either supply or obtain it and send it to Wanaka poste haste. (Ashedoes)

It was however warmer here and we are not expecting -6C tomorro
morning.

Thanks to all the wonderful folks that made suggestions on my personal appearance. All sounds good especially the one who suggested warm towels.
Big T would approve.
