Morning Mist on Mid-Winter's Day

Today is Mid-Winter's day here in New Zealand .... the shortest day. So I left Fergus the dog in the back of the vehicle and took a walk in the Wither Hills Farm Park. We are not allowed to take dogs into the Farm Park but Fergus was happy to wait as he knew he would be getting a walk when I returned.
I had a camera with me and the light and mist on the plain made for some nice atmospheric images. This view is looking out over the lower Wairau Plain towards Port Underwood in the distance.
