Beirut waterfront

Another long day of meetings. I think I've mentioned how amazing the food is here. Tonight for a change in styles we went to a seafood restaurant. They took me to their fish display to choose my fish, so I had to take a photo (see extras). It was delicious! I think this is the wealthiest part of downtown Beirut in my main photo. Quite a lot of expensive looking boats in the harbour, grand hotels nearby and more glitz than the rest of the city. But it could have been anywhere in the world and didn't have the Lebanese warmth or vibe of other parts of the city.
