Ajar
You know that you're really going when the man who comes to help you starts by taking off the front door.
At that point everything sort of tumbles out of the flat. And you're off.
And then the place starts looking less like the home you had and more like the empty spaces that you filled and made look like you.
I was glad about this. I was worried that I was leaving a lot behind in that space. The last look round the emptiness made me realised that it was more than mere stuff that I had moved. I was moving.
