There was a Ninja driving a forklift

Marley shouted gleefully at 2 psychologists and his speech therapist/case worker at the ministry of education this morning, he had seen one earlier he told us all which we figured out to be a man with a balaclava on driving a forklift but hey he thought it was great.

He had his autism screening this morning, so Andre and i sat in a room with him and a psychologist while they played different games with him, it was recorded and they were looking for social interaction, responding to the psychologist, eye contact, all of that.

They did the exact same ados screening as last year and comparing the two he was amazing. Huge improvement on last years. He was able to do a lot more of the activities they set out for him and was more enthused to do so. I saw some aspects that they would deem an autistic trait such as rocking. 

Anyways what they do is they get together with his paediatrician , watch the video again, score it based on numerous things- they also include last ados screening, any info gathered since then on home life, school life and his recent cognitive assessment and they come back to me an say .... what ever they will say. 

So its rated on a scale of 1-4 . 1 being mildly autistic/aspergers. 2 mild to moderate. 3 moderate to severe  4.severe to i guess extreme severe.

He was so sweet he told them about the front loader debacle, he told them about star wars. he did a lot of what they asked him to do.

Afterwards he was shattered though, i could see it, his attention and behaviour swayed a lot. He did really well though, i was very proud of him. 

Andre had to head back to work but i was so grateful for him to be there.

This morning was so icy, apparently there were 25 crashes. Traffic was chaotic, andre was nearly squashed by a truck who was pulling to the side to let an ambulance pass and didn't see him , luckily he saw and pulled ahead of the truck.

Kanye didnt have the best day, he bumped heads with another child on his forehead and was apparently upset, any knock to his head really upsets him so when he got home he was  a bit wild and emotionally upset. We put him to bed early and i'll see how he is in the morning.

Hopefully not as icy as today!
