Family of Herons
We went down to the beach for a walk early this morning arriving just as the tide started to come in. I was sat looking out to sea when I heard quite a loud shrieking type noise down towards the water. Upon closer inspection, I could see that it was a family of Herons feeding on the shore line. Several people saw me taking the photographs and came over asking if it was normal for Herons to feed in the sea. I said that I had never seen it before didn't know for certain, so when I got home I checked on the RSPB webside and it said that it was perfectly normal for them to eat saltwater fish and crabs etc, so I learned something new today!
