The Daily Fox ...

By MaggieB

It was my bird group today - the last of the term.

Michael had anticipated that we would see lots of lovely butterflies and have an enjoyable morning by the sea watching little terns and oodles of waders.

It was dull, overcast and freezing cold! We saw terns and some distant waders, lots of avocets (babies and adults) and it was quite enjoyable in a chilly kind of way - but definitely not good for photography.

In the evening the sun came out and I went out to the garden to photograph the foxes. Suddenly the air was full of piercing tweeting - an enormous influx of long tailed tits were in the old cherry tree.

It looks like the tree has a bad attack of blackfly that the LTT were enjoying feasting on ..
