Today's the day ......................... for a free spirit

It was just a trick of the light and the way that its long mane was tossed about by the breeze - but when we first saw this beautiful horse, it looked for all the world - like a unicorn.

It was the right colour too - almost completely white - apart from a few freckles on its nose.  But most importantly, it had the right attitude.  It stood with head held high, looking at us with measured gaze until it decided that we'd had enough of its attention.

And then off it trotted with an elegant toss of its heels ................
