Black Sky

Arrived home late after a very long day at work to find the most intensely dark skies over Ilkley, made even more dramatic as the cloudy weather dispersed to the west, allowing the sun to drop into a clear sky and illuminate the moor as I have never quite seen it before. 

This is the view from my balcony, overlooking the grammar school. I've not witnessed such supersaturated colours outside of photoshop. The sky truly was as dark as is evidenced here. It was impossible to do the colours justice so this black and white conversion does a better job of conveying the drama. It was totally surreal. I'm really going to miss this view when I move.
