Beach Find

12.4C and dull with a few showers in the morning, then dry through the middle of the day. Rain forecast for later. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound was out in the back garden when the showers came on this morning. She didn't seem to want to come in. I brought her in before she got too wet.

Maeve and I went out for our walk after lunch. We went down the road to the shore road, and down to the beach at Westhaven via the road bridge over the railway. It was dull but at least the rain had gone off.

From the beach at Westhaven we carried on along the sand towards Carnoustie then took the path which used to be the boardwalk right along to the golf hotel. We turned up towards the houses then we came back along the High Street. I had a letter to post, and I called in at the Coop. Maeve waited outside. Then we carried on along the High Street then came up the main road and round to home.
