Zip It!

It has not been a good day.  Grey and overcast, drizzle at times, pouring rain at other times. Bad news about a far away friend occupied my mind most of the day. 

A new system for ordering supplies was introduced last week; then we got told about it.

I attended the 'workshop' to show us how it worked, which turned out to be one man in the canteen, with a laptop.  So much for hands-on training then.  I tried for over two hours to order a couple of items that our department need, but got stuck at the most basic level every time. 

Discovered that we had been paid today ( I thought it was next week), so I treated myself to a new handbag - perfect for holding passports and tickets when we go on holiday. 

In the words of a much missed blipmate who doesn't blip any more: today out of ten?  a mediocre 4.
