Not eggs in a basket

But birds nest fungi.
Once I knew there were birds nest fungi around I had to have a try at photographing them.I am not  waiting till Tiny Tuesday.
The size of pinheads they are beside a busy walkway, in the shade but there are quite a few and once you have seen them they are quite easy to spot. 
Not easy to take even using the 10+ macro lens.
The extras give some of the other stages of their life cycle.
I could add a lot of detail about them but googling birds nest fungi will do it so much better.
