Crunch, crunch, crunch

Went the frosty grass underfoot as I walked across the paddock nearby to get the sunrise hitting Whare Papa/Mt Arthur. Trouble was, that particular mountain was under cloud so now in the extras.
This is looking south east with sheep in the foreground and Pukeone/Mt Campbell, known locally as Brown Acre, in the right background.
A good frost but I was well wrapped up and had my merino/opossum wool socks and gumboots on.
There was no colour in the sky when I arrived but 20 minutes later I was rewarded with an unusual shaped cloud and some blush pink. Well worth getting out of bed for.
