Aren't I Handsome!!

My friend B and I went to Coton Manor in Northamptonshire today, to see the wonderful gardens (and there was a tea room of course!).  The weather was glorious, warm and sunny , the roses were in full bloom and there was colour everywhere...particularly displayed by this rather handsome flamingo!

As a contrast the rather showy colours above, the extra photo was taken on the fringes of a nearby farmer's field where we sat and ate our lunch.  It's surprising how many types of grass there are and the subtle range of colours seen.
