I heard from 2 people (a red squirrel ranger and a birder) about the most photographed red squirrels in the world. So, not ever having seen one in real life, I went off with camera following directions carefully. Did I see one, no! But the small birds where very tame and kindly moved slowly so I could get a shot of them. This is one. 

I also was lent the key to a bird hide and got some great close up shots of lapwings, but the site won't let me use the advanced loader today so I can't add one of those. Sometimes the site lets me use the advanced loader but mostly it doesn't. :-(
