Students as Cocreators

We had our annual Learning and Teaching Symposium at the University today, and one of the sessions this afternoon focussed on the work we've been doing with students as part of the Learning Futures Programme.

Groups of students have been working on pilot projects in partnership with academic staff to investigate various aspects of learning and teaching. Today the students presented an overview of their work to staff at the symposium. The presentation took place in our largest lecture theatre in front of a large group of staff. I know from experience how intimidating that can be, but the students didn't seem fazed by it at all and confidently presented their projects. They did exceptionally well, and it was very well received.
