Photography fun

No more using my phone camera - I'm using a very expensive camera from the botanics to do my photography. For the next two weeks or so I'm going to be taking normal (top photo) and UV (bottom photo) images of various Lathyrus species for my dissertation. I was having a great time with it today until it started to rain and we had to stop. Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow so I can manage to take lots of photos! My work is very weather dependent at the moment and it isn't being very cooperative... 

I'm really enjoying the work so far. I've never used a proper camera before so it's quite exciting learning about the aperture and different lenses and such. Hopefully I'll be able to manage to post lots of interesting photos in the next few weeks!
