Starting work

I got my long term pass to the botanics today which means that I can get through all the locked doors in the research building. I spent four hours today confirming project plans and starting to photograph Lathyrus with a very expensive camera. I really wasn't very good at it but hopefully I'll improve over time. 

I'm going back to do more photography tomorrow (both normal and UV), weather dependent. I'm really excited now that I've properly started and have a more confirmed idea for my project. I've even been told that I could easily use this research and get published in a minor journal if I want to take the time to do so which is really exciting! 

Tonight I was going to research Lathyrus for tomorrow but the internet has been off for the entire night and has just come back on and I'm now too tired. Jonty decided not to go on his pub run today because he was too tired so I was hoping that he'd come home, but instead he's gone to the pub with work friends for the night. He has promised a night with me tomorrow though which I am looking forward to after work.
