I have a plan for the Greek economy.

Today I bought a bunch of stuff at the supermarket and they gave me loads of bags - good quality ones at that - and all free.   Now I will probably take them home and avoid the 5p charge we have at home.  How can this be right?!

So my suggestion is that they leave the Greek pensions alone, don't tax the hotels and restaurants etc etc.   Just start charging for plasitic bags.

Surely that would keep the European Central Bank happy!
