Sports Day

It was Sal's Sports Day today. Go Panthers!  Sports Day is always hot, there's always a lovely atmosphere and always a few tearjerker moments. Sal was very pleased to win the 80m dash - it's eluded her in previous years - and her epic performance in the relay was only slightly marred by her running straight into the youngest member of the team and totally wiping them out.  Being hit full-on by Sal at full-speed must be like being run over by a Monster Truck, more of which later.

It was also the semi-final of Tom's Cricket Cup. The lad got FOUR wickets. Proud moment. He's Man of the Match in our house tonight.

Later we took Tom and Sal to the Extreme Stunt Show in Crystal Palace. It was a gorgeous evening.  There were blokes on bikes, monster trucks and crazy fire balls.  Something for everyone.  A top night out.
