Still and grey

The Holy Loch at midday today, a still, calm day with unenthusiastic and intermittent rain and not a breath of wind. I was on the Western Ferries, returning from a visit to my hairdresser; the colour of my hair after such a visit must have stood out in violent contrast to this peaceful monochrome!

The Holy Loch used to look so very different, when it was home to the US Navy Site One Polaris Base. I shall never cease to be thankful that at least these horrors have gone.
