similar but different

Briar and Willow are genetically identical (we know this for sure because they suffered from twin to twin transfusion syndrome right at the end, which only identical twins can do). This means they started life as the same egg, but have been growing independently since then. They are identical, but not 'identical'.

I like this photo, it shows their personalities well (I did have it cropped nicely, but blips refused to acknowledge that when i've uploaded it and has rotated it back the wrong way again.... I miss the editiing software!). Willow is very calm and still, she keeps eye contact well. Briar is constantly moving and flicks her eyes all over the place. I supect willow will be quite jolly and gentle, Briar might be rather cheeky. But time will tell.
