Return to Scotland

Disembarked from the ferry at about 10:30 after an excellent breakfast. A slow journey up the A1. It is surprising that what was the main road north from London to Edinburgh is not fully dual carriageway.

The weather has been mainly cloudy with intermittent rain. Quite heavy rain by the time we arrived in Aberdeen. A stop for a light lunch at the Glendoick Garden Centre provided a brief rest on the way up.
