Flying High?

Well, not at all actually!
A lovely morning today so we took the dogs to Pitfour Lake      ( see extra photo) for a walk.
We came across this fellow and he was quite slow to fly off. I suspect he may be a young one. He was "quacking" rather like a duck but I'm pretty sure he's a heron!!!
