Armed Forces Day

4th Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment on parade at Millennium Square, Leeds today.  
So proud of our troops - really quite moving to see them on parade... you could hear a pin drop... and then there was spontaneous applause when they marched off though Leeds city centre.
Love the officer's hand in this... I'm sure there will be a tradition/protocol why he's covering his sword like that but I'm not sure why.
Dithered much with my blip choice... hence the extras!  Loved the shiny bulled shoes and crisply ironed trousers.. and loved the shadows in the b & w one.  And I think there's a another blipper in one of them.... not meaning the Lady Mayoress! :)
