Marahau tree sculpture
Took a Sunday drive to Marahau. Very quiet there with most businesses having a well earned break for the winter. At the southern end of the Abel Tasman National Park Marahau is a very busy tourist centre in summer.
Woody's Place is unique in that he carves whole trees rather than bits of them. He started in 1997 and unfortunately is shifting to the West Coast- sculptures and all.
Some examples of his work and his sense of humour. He will be sorely missed.
