Kereru in a persimmon tree

My lucky day. I went to interview a woman about our wharf book project and as I came out her driveway I stopped to look at the persimmon tree and in flew a kereru (wood pigeon). I remember this tree well as my aunt lived further up the valley. It is an astringent persimmon and not sweet but the pigeon doesn't mind.
I have changed my photo. I have been helping our sis in law get ready to move house tomorrow and was late home then I was having her and son for tea so I rushed my blip and put on one I had played with but didn't like  but put it on by mistake. I have reverted to the original which is not over exposed and contrasted.
