My book ( common birds of New Zealand-FIAT) says Self Introduced in the 1950's & rapidly spreading. Boy ! they'd be right there.  Literally hundreds today around (Te Huinga Manu-Bromley.)  So old smarty-pants thought he'd give them a go again ? Their aim is to get a feed not get a picture taken by Mr.Poo !!! -( the only guarantee of a good picture these days is to speed in your car !!) SO: for the techo's - find out which way the winds travelling - find a branch up-wind of the feeding hoards with the certain knowledge they have to come to roost for a wee rest at some point ??
Yea right ! done - wait - here's one coming ------------ 7 shots not one in focus - repeat 20 times - not one in focus. - change tactics - focus the branch- silly boy - should have done that an hour ago - here's one coming------------------ gotcha ya little bugga! - wait and do it another ten times.- 2 hours later - Great day at the office. thanks very much
