Into Every Life, A Little Rain Must Fall

After a perfectly sunny day of hiking, the clouds moved in and we had a whole night of thunderstorms. This is a view from the tent in the early evening. You can see our hanging food bags (as if bears might be about in the driving rain), and the hills beyond. it was so exciting that I had to wear earplugs not to worry excessively about lightning and being blown off the hill.
