Horse Packers

There are distinct differences between backpackers and horsepackers. Horsepackers wear jeans and bring tents the size of rooms. Backpackers wear Gortex and sleep in little cocoons. Horsepackers offer to put on a pot of coffee when you meet. Backpackers offer you a Cliff bar. Horsepackers believe in big campfires. Backpackers believe in little gas stoves. Luckily, we all shared the fire in the rain.
