All the poppies have popped off........

Our garden has come on leaps and bounds whilst we've been on holiday. Lots of new things are in full bloom, such as the roses, peonies, delphiniums, foxgloves......no doubt you will get to see some of these soon ;-)

However, as a tribute to lovely poppies, which have been and now gone, barring their centres I thought this made a rare,nice and somewhat unusual shot, especially with the wine coloured starfish ;-)

We are cream crackered today, having done all the ironing between us, hub has mowed both lawns, I've cooked roast chicken dinner, just about to dish it up, so best get on with it......then to catch up on a bit of TV I think :-)
