Framed Lamb

Long day today. Up later than we should have been after last nights whisky tasting. Spend a few hours running around getting everything packed before leaving to see J's friend H and her daughter H in Penrith for a late lunch. Nice to catch up with both of them and practice my coloring in.
Left and headed over to Buttermere. J had booked a weekend’s wild swimming with Head to the Hills. Arrived at the YHA in time for the afternoon acclimatisation dip as it said on the itinerary. Turned out to be a 2K swim in lake Buttermere. Great scenery and a very nice swim even if it was a bit longer than we thought.
After dinner headed out to take a few photos of the lake. On the way we spotted this little fellow. This month’s theme is framing so here he is framed through the fence with the dramatic hills in the background.

Went to bed early knackered but looking forward to the next days swimming.
