In the buttercups

She loved lying amongst the flowers, even though they made her sneeze incessantly.

We had a lazy morning after the late movie night yesterday but got ourselves sorted around midday as Grace had to be at her friend's place to go to a birthday party. They went to see Minions at the metro centre and had a BBQ back here in the village later. Meanwhile, my brother in law came to pick the rest of us up and take us to the farm to spend time with the family. They've worked hard to start sorting out some of Dad's things. It's a difficult task, but it needs doing and doesn't get any easier if you put it off.
This afternoon it was the school 'Duck Race' which was loads of fun and Arwen's duck came second in her heat. She ALMOST won the grand final, but on the final part, her duck got knocked off course when a dog ran through the river (as they do, haha!) and her duck 'Monkey Bob' got stuck on a twig. Great fun.
