Let's bake a cake!

Daddy has gone back to the Motherland for the weekend and so we were car-less. Ophelia got a lift with friends to ballet this morning. After lunch, Grace wanted to bake a cake she'd seen in one of her recipe books. A double chocolate fudge cake with white chocolate icing. Very tasty it is too! My sister and her husband visited late afternoon and we had a lovely chat. This evening we had a girls' movie night and watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix whilst stuffing popcorn and nachos. The two little ones managed about half the movie then went to bed. Gracie stayed up for the rest of the movie and then we watched some of the BBC's Glastonbury coverage together. Not that impressed with much of it, I have to say.
