Take Two

As I was on my Hutton Le Hole cycling circuit I had to apply my breaks to check if my eyes were deceiving me. As I turned the corner to catch my first glimpse of the church I could have sworn there were two giraffes sat on the church tower. I therefore had to turn around to have another look. Sure enough there they were waiting to be blipped.

It turns out that the theme for this year's Flower Festival is Noah's Ark. In addition to the Giraffes the Ark is being constructed inside the Norman Church. The Festival starts on the 10th July and I will definitely be up for a return visit.

This is definitely one of the best forms of advertising I have come across. Although patrons of the Blacksmiths Arms gave me some quizzical looks!
