Sunday seed head

Having enjoyed the hospitality of good friends Wendy and Tony. I hitched a lift to the urban orienteering event in Whitby. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the preparations for Le Tour en route to the event.

The event was not quite as technical as last years event and I made a silly error towards the end of my run. I blame running up the hill for causing a lack of oxygen to the grey matter!

Home for a gentle walk with the dog and spotted this seed head in the long grass.

Nearly blipped a cat snoozing on the door mat of the pottery. It totally ignored a large rat that crossed within a metre of its nose!
