Sunny Evening

The day has been mostly cloudy and the threat of rain has been in the air all day but never came to much.  The sun finally came out this evening and just in time for me to go to work, typical!

We've had a very busy day in the museum today, with 600 visitors through the door.  Two cruise liners came into Lerwick with over 3,000 passengers onboard.  People of questions thrown our way, most were simple and quick to answer but sometimes we do get stumped with them :) 
After tea, I headed down to see granny in the care centre at Levenwick and she's been in great humour and chatted away fine.  Popped along to see my brother Jonny and family on my way home.
Now it's off to work in the pub for the night, not liking it with this sun being out!

Just a quick Blip today from my brothers front door in Bigton and his view over to Ireland.  I'd love to have gone for a walk about Ireland but not enough time, just managed to squeeze a quick visit to see Jonny.  Always nice to see the sun and blue skies, please let you get more this week :)
