Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly

It's been wall to wall sunshine here today so I was really very pleased to see this butterfly on the Euonymus Silver Queen this afternoon.    It's the first butterfly I've seen in the garden so far this year and it was happily feeding from the little yellow/green flowers.   The shrub is in the full sun and it seemed to be 'alive' with all sorts of bees gathering pollen.
