One species each day (from my backyard)
This is Cardimine hirsuta, a weed growing in the garden and flower pots etc. Although there are some plants in the garden still flowering, I find the siliquae (seed capsules) most fascinating, so I tried to photograph these instead to represent this plant. These contain tiny seeds that get shot far away when the siliquae are ripe. Of course it would be nice to photograph on in action, but my photography skills haven't developed that far yet.
