Roofs of Colne

My grandmother on my mother’s side came from Colne.  As a baby I was in a 5 generation photo including my grandmother's father, and his mother, my great great grandmother!    Later, as a small child I even visited my great-grandfather a few times here. I thought I had a vague memory of this but having been here today I realise I was remembering somewhere else. My memory is of a street of red brick terraces and everything in Colne is built of local stone.
It seemed to be a very nice place to live these days!
