Varenna

A visit to Varenna today with lunch in the Piazza. One of the reasons for the visit was to continue my hunt for a few pictures for the apartment. In this respect I did not find anything that really caught my eye at a price which was affordable. I may settle for printing and framing a couple of my photographs taken in the area.

We are getting a lot of rain at the moment, but fortunately it falls in the late afternoon or evening, and so is not a major inconvenience. On the days when we have been out on the lake we have been getting back just before the rain starts.
