Mallow

There are flowers at the bottom of my garden, the trouble is, where they are growing it should be lawn.  The grass seed that was sprinkled there has not yet grown, but the wild Mallows obviously have deeper roots and despite the lack of rain are doing very nicely, as the picture of this one shows.
