Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now!

The heron!
I was down at Strichen Lake this morning ( all seven cygnets still fine) and I saw this heron all hunched up.
Somehow, this reminds me of a miserable old teacher trying to get his pupils' attention!!
Sunny and breezy in the morning, but in the afternoon, we've had thunder and heavy rain!
